Secure Checks

Now your checks are more secure with 7 new check security features from Liberty Check Printers.

As part of an industry-wide effort to combat check fraud, Liberty Check Printers has incorporated seven new security features on your checks.

Three of these features are Liberty innovations.

With Liberty's new security features, your checks have greater protection from check fraud involving tampering, chemical alteration, forgery and counterfeiting.

7 New Security Features:

1- Liberty Secure Tamper Evident Seal - Liberty innovation

LibertySecure Tamper Evident Seal is applied to both ends of check box. If seal is peeled back during shipping, the work "VOID" instantly appears on the check box, alerting you that your checks have been tampered with. LibertySecure is an effective deterrent against check box tampering.

2-Ultraviolet feature - Liberty innovation

Random pattern design is visible when held to ultraviolet light source. Document verification via ultraviolet light technology is an emerging new retail security step. Presence of ultraviolet feature helps retailers and consumers verify a check's authenticity. Exact reproduction of ultraviolet feature is difficult for counterfeiters.

3-Improved multistain security paper - Liberty innovation

Liberty's improved multistain security paper has full sensitivity to a wide range of forgers' chemicals. Upon contact with chemicals, blue or purple starbursts appear. "VOID" message appears in six different languages upon contact with bleach. Makes chemical alteration of names and dollar amounts extremely difficult.

4-Padlock icon

A padlock icon displayed on the front of your check indicates the presence of specific security features. Padlock icon sends a clear warning to those with criminal intent and alerts retailers and consumers to check for security features.

5-Micro-Printed signature line

Tiny "micro-printed" words in signature line visible by magnification are difficult to reproduce. Micro-printing helps deter check fraud via photocopying and helps retailers and consumers verify a check's authenticity.

6-Security screen

A security screen of the words "Original document" displayed on the back of your check is difficult to duplicate by anyone other than a quality check printer. Security screen feature provides a useful safeguard against check fraud via photocopying.

7-Warning box

A warning box on the back of your check lists your check's security features. Warning box alerts counterfeiters that your check contains specific security features. It also signals retailers and consumers to check for security features.
